“My passion for architecture began early, when my parents purchased a modest, custom 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in suburban Connecticut. Land was affordable in the 1950s, and construction was everywhere. I would sneak onto construction sites for a closer look at the process – which became my introduction to the building environment. Later, as a teen working at the local mall, I discovered my first furniture store, and was fascinated by the beautifully designed room vignettes set up for display. These two early encounters helped shape my career path in architecture. After graduating from Ohio State University in 1983 with a Bachelors of Science in Architecture, I developed my skills while working for Westfield, Incorporated, Los Angeles and Haagen Property Management Inc. in Manhattan Beach.”

In 2006, I formed my own company where I focus on understanding the complexities of design and construction, while working personally with my clients to create the most appropriate project for their requirements. It’s the same wonderful journey I first experienced as a child, and it is thrilling to help clients transform the design of a building or home
